The trustees of the East Midlands Education Trust have ultimate responsibility for governance of Castle Donington College.  However, they delegate as much autonomy as possible to the college's Local Governing Body (who are a committee of the trustees). As a result, the Local Governing Body plays a crucial role in the success of the college.

 

The LGB meets regularly throughout the school year, with meetings currently being conducted virtually via Microsoft Teams. These meetings provide an important opportunity for the LGB to engage with the school community, hold leaders to account and ensure that the college continues to provide the best possible education to its students.
