Uniform

Governors expect all pupils to wear the College uniform as set out below. If you need help in purchasing College Uniform, please contact the College Office. Please ensure all items are clearly labelled with pupil’s name.

College Uniform

Pupils are expected to wear:

We do not allow pupils to wear:

  • Navy blue sweatshirt with College logo
  • White or navy blue polo shirt with College logo 
  • All black, plain school trousers 
  • All black, plain or pleated school skirt or black tailored formal shorts worn just above the knee
  • All black school shoes without coloured trim or sports logo: of the type that would be worn for a formal, professional interview. Sensible, school type, low heeled shoes that cover the whole foot and do not slip off the heel.
  • Visible socks must be white, black or navy blue.  Tights should be plain black or navy
  • Outdoor coats should be dark in colour

Coats and outer garments must be removed on entering the College building.

  • Hoodies at any time
  • Fashion trousers with logos, leggings, exposed zips, jean style pockets, rivets or such adornments, 
  • Skinny style/ tight, low cut trousers 
  • Tight figure hugging/short skirts 
  • Trainers
  • Open-toe / backless shoes 
  • Canvas pumps or shoes
  • Boots (in inclement weather boots can be worn to school but not in the building)
  • Earrings (one pair of stud earrings may be worn, one in each ear)
  • Any body piercing/studs (nose, tongue, lip, eyebrow) 
  • Jewellery of any kind including smart watches 
  • Visible make-up, 
  • Nail varnish or any type of false nails
  • Artificial hair colour/ extreme hair style. 

Hair must be of a natural hue. We do not allow tramlines/ patterns shaved into hair.

Sports Kit for PE Lessons

  • College PE top 
  • Navy blue shorts or dark tracksuit bottoms without logos
  • Trainers

Equipment 

All pupils are expected to bring a school bag that is large enough to hold an A4 Folder and provide the following stationery each day;

  • Two pens ( black or blue ink)
  • Two pencils
  • Ruler
  • Rubber
  • Whiteboard marker
  • Pencil case
  • Pencil sharpener
  • Highlighter
  • Calculator (scientific)
  • Reading book
  • A College planner (provided by College)
  • An apron for Food Technology lessons
  • Reusable water bottle. (These can be purchased from College Reception £2.00)

All other stationery is optional
